世界屈指のコレクションを誇るボストン美術館では、歌川広重の浮世絵版画『東海道五拾三次』を、初版を含め500点以上所蔵しており、海外では世界一の浮世絵コレクションとして知られています。
ボストン美術館浮世絵版画室長でキュレーターのセーラ・E・トンプソンさんが、ビゲロー・コレクションやスポルディング・コレクションの中から作品を厳選するとともに原本との色調整にも最初から参加し、越前鳥の子和紙を用いた完成度の高い復刻を世界で初めて原寸大で実現しました。
日本の絵巻表装職人の技を融合させ、元々独立していた複数の絵画を連続した一枚の巻物とすることで、一連の東海道が描かれた浮世絵を順番に鑑賞できる世界初の東海道五拾三次絵巻です。

If it is in stock, we will deliver it immediately. If the product is out of stock, the product will be delivered to the address provided by us (Seiundo) or Toppan Forms Co., Ltd. after the production is completed.
